We launched Life Stages after constantly seeing images of bare floorboards and empty rooms in local estate agent's windows! Staging is something we‘ve always offered but we want to help more Londoners get the best return on their most valuable asset, their property. Already a mainstay of marketing efforts in the US and Australia, London is beginning to catch on!
Our dedicated team of experts have every stage covered. We are fully involved with each stage, no outsourcing or expecting you to go it alone. Your belongings will be safe in our storage facilities and you can enlist us to move you onwards too. No loss in translation between the design and decoration stages and high standards adhered to across the whole process.

we visit
Once you book your consultation, we will visit and carefully examine every space from the perspective of potential buyers or renters, posing the questions they would likely have. We capture photographs and take measurements while gathering information on local competition. We build a character that represents your ideal buyer and then email you a detailed report with a design scheme that will make that buyer fall in love.
2.
the edit
Most people have far more “stuff” than they realise, plenty going unused. The edit involves distilling the contents of each room down to a curated minimum. We will do our best to work as much of your existing furniture into the scheme as possible. Anything leftover can be either stored in our affordable storage units, donated to charity, or responsibly recycled. This is a great opportunity to cull anything not worthy of the onward move!
3.
UPGRADE
Once the editing has cleared the way we can get to grips with what we have left. Shelves and cupboards will be emptier and it’s the perfect time to organise and then clean every corner of your home. Steam cleaning rugs, sofas and curtains that made the edit will give them a fresh energy for their place in your stage.
4.
RESET
This is where the transformation really begins. We know exactly what will delight your buyers. We tackle those forgotten DIY jobs, repairs and easy wins. Think shelves, coat + towel hooks, clothes drying racks. Fixing that cracked stair or loose carpet. Maybe there’s a perfect space for a drying rack or clever upgrade in the WC.
5.
decorate
We won’t give everything away now but trust us, your staged home will not be a whitewashed blank canvas. Our stages echo our interior designs, they aren’t supposed to appeal to the masses. Expect memorable and budget-clever transformations. Buyers don’t want blank canvases, they want readymade homes.

The grand finale, if you will. Our team delivers, assembles, installs, arranges, and styles every room as agreed in the original design report. Everything needed to complete the perfect home for your dream buyer is included - art, plants, soft furnishings, kitchenware. The entire kit is rented on an 8 week basis and can be extended by the month as required.
